It has come to our attention that we have members who are participating in a very dangerous activity during matching. During a match earlier this week against LnD this problem came to the forefront. While fighting back from a deficit on map number 2 SpecJ swallowed a tack. This resulted in him missing the next four matches of the night and spending several hours at the hospital where much to his liking they inserted a hamster into his ass to retrieve the thumbtack. Ladies and gentlemen, this is no laughing matter. The level of torture that poor hamster had to go through to retrieve that tack will surely scar that poor animal for the rest of its natural life. Remember, while matching RvS, Do not put one of these in your mouth. If you don't do it for yourself, do it for the hamster. Just say no to thumbtacks!

DiRT
After years of getting gamers to wonder "who?" Codemasters intends to leave off the "Colin McRae" in the title when DiRT comes to North America this summer. Also conspicuously absent from the title is the word "rally", and that is much more than just a marketing move. Racing fans will remember a similar sort of evolution that the TOCA series went through. What started as a strong, but niche, simulation game based around the British Touring Car Championship became the Race Driver series with significantly broadened appeal by adding a wide variety of road racing. DiRT applies essentially the same approach to the venerable Colin McRae Rally series.
As chief game designer Ralph Fulton puts it, the developers intend this to be "the definitive off-road racing experience." Yes, rally makes up part of that, but you definitely don't have to be into it to have any interest in the game. In fact, rally purists could well be put off by the de-emphasis on pure rallying.
While you'll be able to race everything from the latest and greatest Evos and Imprezzas to classic favorites like the Lancia Stratos and Group B monsters on traditional rally segments, the multi-day/multi-stage rally simulation is no more.

Bio-Shock Out
This review is a strictly enforced spoiler-free zone. It's vital that you don't let anyone spoil BioShock for you, and three words would ruin it. So kindly refrain from reading any forums and the like until you've bought, played and completed the game. Which is something you should do as quickly as possible. Partly because it's a wonderful game, but also because I'm not sure how long I can go without talking about the bit where (spoiler deleted. Sigh. - Ed).
Some of the things that make it so extraordinary are things I can't tell you about without spoiling them, so this review is going to be about the ones that I can. All I'll say about the premise is what they'll probably put on the back of the box: it's 1960, you're on a plane, and it explodes over the ocean in the middle of the night.
It's a spectacularly beautiful opening, from the moment your head breaks the flame-glinting surface of the oil-black water with a spluttering gasp, to when crackly violas groan out a quietly mournful fanfare to your first glimpse of Rapture, BioShock's underwater metropolis.
